Today in the Lecture Hall at 4:00p.m., the Coppell High School National Honor Society will have their annual junior class elections. Many incoming juniors will be running for junior vice president, junior attendance or junior hours officer. Officers must have great leadership skills, punctuality and a great work ethic.
At the 2013 NHS induction ceremony, officers will have to give a speech and participate in the lighting of the candles, as well as swear off the Class of 2015. NHS is a very prestigious organization and many students believe that they have what it takes to help run this club.
The meeting today will consist of each candidate giving a speech explaining why they believe that they would be a great officer.
Make sure you are not late to this very important meeting and do not forget to join the National Honor Society’s Facebook group this month.
