For freshman, sophomores, and Juniors TAKS week was not something that they were looking forward to this year. But for seniors the week was just the beginning of a winding down school year.
With late arrival every day last week, seniors got a taste of summer, and in upcoming weeks, the class of 2012 will feel like their year is on fast forward with the amount of activities in store for them.
Outside of school, grad parties will be consuming many students time on the weekends. This will consist of celebrating their friend’s successes through high school and congratulating them on their victories. On May 22, seniors will have their senior awards as well as senior skip day where they will have the opportunity to go to Six Flags for the day or just hangout and enjoy their time off.
May 24 will mark students last official day of school, excluding finals the next week for those who are not exempt. Finally, May 31 will be senior’s graduation at UNT and will also mark the day of Project Graduation.
With so much in store for seniors in the upcoming weeks, its time to savor these last few moments of senior year and enjoy them before they are in the past.
