As the end of the year approaches, there are usually several things students need to do in order to prepare for the summer break. This usually involves returning textbooks, cleaning money out of lunch accounts and returning library books.
The librarians are requesting that all books checked out by CHS students be returned by Monday. Students who do not return books will be reprimanded until the end of school until books are returned. However, there is a different situation for seniors. If senior chooses not to return a book or has lost a book and does not pay the fee, they will not graduate.
While it may seem that the library is being unreasonable, each of the books checked out costs around $20. If 30 seniors don’t turn in a book, that’s about $600 dollars in damages.
Be sure to return your books to the library before Monday.
