After excelling in two regional competitions, the Coppell High School Lariettes take on their final competition of the year. The Marching Auxiliaries National Dance Championship is being held in Fort Worth, Texas with over 70 different drill teams and dance studios competing. The Lariettes hope to win in their category as a “large” high school.
On Friday, the team performed their jazz routine and kick routine, as well as individual solos and officer performances. The team will perform their pom and contemporary routines tomorrow.
Results for the competition will be announced around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lariettes are extremely hopeful to win in their division and hopefully receive personalized jackets for their accomplishments.
