After the annual and succesful Heritage Night that the Junior World Affairs Council hosted, they are at it again and are preparing for even a bigger event, Holi.
Holi is annual celebration on the day after the full moon in the Hindi month in which they celebrate spring and commemorate various events in Hindu mythology. It is also known as the celebration of colors, in which people throw scented powder and perfume at each other.
JWAC’s Holi celebration will be on Saturday, Mar. 24 at Andy Brown West from 12 – 3. Everyone is welcome so do not miss this exciting holiday!
