This Wednesday, March 7, sophomore and junior students around Texas will be taking the TAKS test. This means that freshman and seniors get to come in at 12 pm after testing is over for late arrival.
The school advices students testing on Wednesday to get a good night sleep and to be sure to eat a good breakfast prior to testing. TAKS testing determines final exemptions for this semester as well as moving on to the next grade. In order to be exempt from your finals at the end of the year, students are required to get commended on TAKS as well as the grade and attendance requirements.
It is important that students take it seriously and try their best this week during testing.
