The Model United Nations club is up and running for the 2009-2010 school year after holding its first two meetings of the year — one for previous members to establish t-shirt designs, conference dates and potential fundraising opportunities, and another for new members. Together, the group hopes to combat a list of political issues at many of this year’s conferences.
The next meeting for both old and new members will be on Wednesday, Sept. 16, after school in the lecture hall, where officer elections will be discussed. If you have any questions, contact AP Human Geography teacher Mrs. Vail.
