On October 1st, the Coppell Community Garden will have a tree planting class at the William T. Cozby Public Library.
The class is free, and includes a discussion about trees and planting advice, with the opportunity to help plant a tree in the garden afterwards. Leading the class will be Dallas Regional Urban Forester of the Texas Forest Service, Micah Pace. An expert in forestry and the environment, he has worked across the U.S. and has earned a Master of Science in Forestry. This event promises to be fun and informative, and all ages are welcome.
