While the beginning of the school year is often focused on preparations for the homecoming dance, the annual Freshman Dance is sometimes eclipsed. However, this year the Coppell High School Red Jackets are motivated to make this year’s freshman kick off dance one of the best yet.
The Freshman Dance was originally scheduled for the first week of school. The rescheduling of the dance to his Saturday, September 10th, has given freshman more time to meet their fellow students prior to the event.
The Red Jackets, the hosts of the annual dance, will spend this week visiting freshman classrooms to advertise for the dance. Freshman can purchase tickets to the event during lunches for the remainder of the week.
Freshman are encouraged to attend the Freshman Dance as a way to meet and bond with classmates that they may not have met before, as well as a way to celebrate their entrance into high school.
The Freshman Dance takes place this Saturday, September 10th from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at CHS.
