Take one look around Coppell High School and it would be impossible to argue that overcrowding is not a problem. The overloaded hallways seem impossible to get through, and are a constant source of annoyance for many students.
The school board has taken suggestions and is looking into many things to help solve the problems not only at the high school, but in the middle and elementary schools as well.
The suggestions include building another elementary school, possibly in the Cypress Waters development near North Lake and Valley Ranch, adding another middle school within the next three to five years, and possibly adding another high school. Many have suggested that these new building should be equipped with technology of the 21st century, and involve 21st century learning.
They are also looking at redistricting as a more short term change.
