The large and damaging weather system that’s currently moving through the Metroplex and various Texas counties is said to be making it’s way to the small town of Joplin, Missouri where a tornado recently hit. The town was hit by the tornado on Sunday and already the death toll stands at 122 with more than 750 people injured. Joplin is working to get through the rubble but this recent storm could slow down efforts.
Though we in Coppell were lucky to just get rain, lightning and some hail, others were not so lucky. Two have already died in Oklahoma from the Northern parts of the storm, and multiple tornadoes touched down in Texas cities. With all the damaging storms, people are no doubt going to need help and donating is a great way to aid those affected.
