On Thursday, May 26, the Coppell Cowboys football teams will play in their annual spring games to showcase their offseason progress and give fans a preview of what to expect from next year’s squads.
The JV game is slated to begin at 4:30 p.m. at Buddy Echols Field, and the varsity game will begin a 7:00. The games will pit the projected starting offenses against the second unit defenders, while the starters on defense will play the backups on offense.
In conjunction with the games, a tailgate for fans will be held on the NW parking lot of Buddy Echols Field on May 26. Burger and hot dog meal plans will be available for ten dollars each.
