If you walk by Mrs. Doggets class this week you might smell something fishy. For the past two days students enrolled in Doggets aquatic science class have been dissecting sharks in order to gain knowledge about the anatomy of this animal. With aprons and goggles in tact these students use tools to carefully take a part the shark and take diligent notes of their observations.
“I have learned that the liver takes up two thirds of the body cavity, ” Senior Alec Lucas said.
With the dissection coming to a close, students are now more aware of the makeup of the shark and the body systems that are a part of it.
