On Friday, April 29, CHS will host their annual sustainability expo with the purpose of educating students on the numerous troubles facing the environment and find easy ways to go green. On Saturday, April 30, the city of Coppell is hosting Earthfest, a festival dedicated to helping educate the entire community on going green. They will also be hosting the “Clean Up, Fix Up” drive through collection from 10 am- 2 pm on April 30. The collection will take place at Town Center Elementary School in the parking lot. People will have the opportunity to properly dispose of old electronics and donate old household goods. They will also be able shred documents and properly dispose of large items. This helps teach residents about proper waste management.
