The SuperTeachers, program has continued its teacher recognition into round three, in which CISD superintendent Jeff Turner identified 12 outstanding teachers. The teachers were chosen based on certain lessons that were thought to provide students with the opportunity to get actively involved in learning.
The way that lessons were recognized has to do with the way that teachers have been able to incorporate 21st century teaching methods into their lessons. These methods should be able to engage students in lessons and help to employ deeper learning.
Winning teachers receive a t-shirt, plaque and will attend a session with Turner to exchange ideas, group strategies and teaching methods. The following teachers are this rounds SuperTeachers:
