Last night, March 9, 2011, our Coppell High School lacrosse team fell to the number one ranked Jesuit Rangers 13 to 11.

The guys Coppell Lacrosse team has is a two time state champion in divsion 2 and this year the team made the switch to division 1. So far the teams record has been undeafted until last night and they are currently ranked second in the state.

The game last night against Jesuit was promised to be one of the biggest games of the year and it did just that. Even though the Rangers pulled of the win in the closing minutes the Cowboys gave it all they could but he coaches and players alike bth see room for improvement. Also, the team says that they will be able to keep this second place ranking and hopefully defeat the Rangers come the playoffs and win a third state title.

The highlights of the game last night can be watched on lax.com in the upcoming days. The lacrosse team still has plenty of games left and they will also be competing in Philadelphia two weeks after spring break. If you’re a fan of the team or just want to watch the sport being played come out and support the lacrosse team at one of their upcoming game.
