The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s School and Youth Programs are conjoining with Coppell high school in order to help raise money for patients diagnosed with several blood cancers. These cancers include Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and Myeloma. Fourth period classes are collecting spare change this week in order to help find a cure for these diseases. The class that collects the most change will be awarded with a pasta lunch from Olive Garden. With over $21 million being raised last year across the country, Pennies for Patients has proven to be a success. This mission ends on March 10, so it is vital for students to contribute as much as they can in order to improve the conditions of patients and help fight cancer.
