The time has finally arrived, yet again, for the Junior World Affairs Council to host its annual Heritage Day in the Coppell High School commons.
Friday, Feb. 25, from 6-9 p.m. students from all grade levels will be displaying their tri-boards for members of the community to come and see the diversity that looms this school.
Each member represent a different country, there will be more than just information to garner at this event. Along informative display boards, there will be food, ethnic dancing from several Asian countries and the recitation of various national anthems.
As a member, I will be representing the same country I have for the past four years, Pakistan. Although I have performed every year, this will be the first in which I do a solo performance.
The night’s agenda is loaded with festivites and admission is only two dollars, so be sure to drop by!
