For the first time in Coppell High School history, the cheer team took home first place at the National Cheerleading Association competition.
Starting in October, the CHS cheerleaders begin learning and perfecting a routine to perform at NCA. Paid choreographers come in and create the routine and the cheerleaders exert the skills necessary.
There is a very high level of talent in the cheer program this year that led to the victory over South Lake high school during last week’s competition.
After months of practicing, their hard work paid off and the cheerleaders brought another championship to Coppell history.
