    Coppell cheerleaders begin competition this weekend

    The Coppell High School cheerleading team begins their first competition of 2011 this weekend, with show offs taking place Friday night at CHS in the small gym at 6:30 p.m.

    Both teams, advanced and intermediate, will have a chance to perform their routines that they have been working on for the last two months.

    “We have been practicing and working very hard for the last few weeks and during Christmas break to prepare for the competitions this weekend,” senior cheerleader Abby Drake said. “The show offs gives us a chance to show off our hard work to our parents and friends as well as get a feel for performing our routine in front of a crowd.”

    Make sure to come to CHS to support the Coppell cheerleading team.
