Coppell High School will be holding its third SPUR meeting this Friday right before 4th period. SPUR, which stands for Supporting Peers and Utilizing Relationships, is a program that CHS initiated in September 2010 as a replacement for last year’s MAP (My Advisory Period) activities.
The high level of student interaction and planning is contributing to SPUR’s success this year. The first two meetings have been much more well-received by students and teachers than previous MAP meetings, and this trend will hopefully continue.
Friday’s SPUR will promote the Hero Letter Campaign, where students can write positive letters to support the American Troops.
