Tonight at 7 p.m., the Coppell girls soccer team plays Flower Mound at Buddy Echols Field.
The Cowgirls have started red hot, defeating all 11 teams they have played, routing four top 10 teams in the state.
This match will break a first place tie in District 5-6A between the Cowgirls and Jaguars, each with 15 points.
The Cowgirls have been preparing diligently for this match.
“We are working on our team shape, ball movement and defensive transition movement,” Able said. “Flower Mound is one of the top teams in the state and they are known for their off ball movement, pattern play and ability to possess the ball.”
The Cowgirls and Jaguars are both formidable teams as the Cowgirls have only given up one goal in district and the Jaguars have only given up two.
