This Friday night is the last home football game of this school year, and senior night for the football players, cheerleaders, Lariettes and band members.
The last home game is always a bitter day for senior students because it is an end to a fun and memorable chapter of their lives. The good part about this night, however, is that all of the senior boys and girls who are involved in every Friday night game will be recognized for all that they do.
Every cheerleader, Lariette, football player, silver spur and band member gets announced by name and is escorted onto the field by their parents. This makes this night particularly special and memorable for everyone involved.
Along with the recognition before the game a special senior pep rally will be held in doors on Friday morning. The pep rally includes many performances and special activities that feature the seniors of Coppell High School, giving them one last taste of CHS spirit.
This week is an important part of many people’s senior year and shows how fast the year is going by.
This Friday may be the last home game for countless students, however soon most of those students will be on their way to college football games, with new teams, new friends and new traditions.
