When new celebrities achieve stardom, there are varying levels of how they handle this new fame. Many embrace fame with open arms, while others seemingly oppose the attention.

Tune into this week’s episode of On the Record, where The Sidekick media editor Rhea Chowdahry and staff writer Jay Vernekar analyze the parasocial relationship between fans and celebrities and celebrities handling new stardom, specifically Chappell Roan’s recent issues.
