Coppell Cross Country seized the day last weekend at the McKinny Boyd Invitational. Fielding runners in the both varsity and junior varsity events, the girls varsity team took 1st and girls junior varstiy made 2nd. Meanwhile, the boys teams excelled to take 3rd in bot varsity and junior varsity.
The top runners in boys varsity include Colton Reese with 10th place and Jordan Williams with 17th place. Girls varsity include Kim Kirby with 2nd and Kaleigh Ervin with 5th. Top junior varsity runners were Drew Armenta with 6th, John De la Chapelle with 8th, Alyssa Shelton with 2nd, and Alex Rapert with 5th.
