Authenticity has become increasingly valued in politics among younger generations. So much so that it is one of the key deciding factors for young voters. But, is it all it’s cracked up to be?

In this episode, The Sidekick’s editorial page editor Nyah Rama discusses authenticity’s place  in politics with junior Coppell High School varsity debaters Ananya Nair and Sivaank Pothukoochi on the second episode of Real Talk with Nyah Rama.

Nyah is a senior and the Editorial Page Editor for The Sidekick. Her passion for the opinions section comes from her desire to uncover the truth and represent those who don't have this platform. Sabah Uddin is a senior and the Communications Manager for The Sidekick. Her favorite part of being in The Sidekick is being able to cover events and meet people she never would’ve known before. Through The Sidekick she has gotten to step out of her comfort zone in discovering sports photography and feature writing. When she’s not covering an event for The Sidekick or competing with the Coppell High School DECA chapter, you can find her exploring new restaurants and cafes. Manasa Borra, Webmaster/Interactives Editor
Manasa Borra is a senior and the Webmaster/Interactives Editor at The Sidekick. She enjoys listening to songs that stopped being cool a decade ago yet somehow doesn’t know any bands. She loves the sweet scent of jasmine and vanilla ice cream but avoids all other sugary desserts. Her favorite pastime is consuming an extensive variety of mystery media, from The Da Vinci Code to Only Murders in the Building to all things Agatha Christie.
