Coppell senior wide receiver Tucker Cusano runs a slant route, catching the ball in stride for the touchdown in overtime on Sept. 6 at Stuart B. Lumpkins Stadium, making the score 27-21 with Coppell leading. The Cowboys defeated Waxahachie, 28-27, in their first overtime game since October 2021.

Floating lanterns are released onto the lake after sunset at the Food Festival & Diwali Celebration on Nov. 10 at The Sound. DFW’s Fourth Annual South Asian Food Festival & Diwali Celebration excited the community with bazaars, traditional food, performances and a floating lantern show.

Creations by Linda owner Linda Sewell creates decor from repurposed jewelry to sell at Holiday House on Sunday In the Coppell High School Commons. Holiday House was open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., where local vendors sold products for the holiday season, ticket sales help fund Project Graduation.

The Majeno family dresses up in Halloween costumes during Tunes and Treats. The Riverside Church of Christ hosted Tunes or Treats at The Sound on Oct. 26 for guests to dress up in Halloween costumes, listen to music and enjoy treats.
