Anushree De is a senior and the features editor of The Sidekick, where their passion for storytelling flourishes. Their favorite films, La La Land, Zootopia, and Everything Everywhere All at Once, resonate with creative optimism, mirroring her outlook on life. Born in Topeka, Kansas, Anushree embarked on a journey that ultimately led to finding her place in Coppell during second grade. The challenging transition from charter to public school shaped Anushree into the resilient individual they are today. In her spare time, Anushree immerses herself in the enchanting world of Spanish literature, relishing the perspectives it offers. As they have started their senior year, their advice to their younger self would simply be a hug, a reminder that growth is a journey worth embracing. Wendy Le
Wendy Le, Executive Social Media Editor
Wendy Le is in her third year in The Sidekick as a senior and the executive social media editor. Throughout her time in this program, she’s found joy in doing things and going to places she never thought she would’ve: standing on the sidelines, in the back of the Black Box Theatre, political rallies, learning how to use Adobe, taking photos, making social media graphics and writing features.  Le does have hobbies outside of D115. When she’s not scouring to get things edited or feeding The Sidekick social media accounts, she likes to brain rot on TikTok, craft new Pinterest boards, go thrifting and take photos on her digital camera. Avani Munji
Avani Munji, Executive Design Editor
Avani Munji is a senior and the executive design editor for The Sidekick. Munji joined the program unintentionally, but found that The Sidekick was the perfect place for her to grow as a designer. When she’s not creating a design or trying to learn everything there is to know about Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, you can find her playing various videogames on her Xbox and mourning the loss of her 2008 Wii.
