Got You Covered is a series from The Sidekick detailing events involving Coppell High School and Coppell ISD happening this week. It will be posted every Monday for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year.
  • Parks and Recreation Board meets today at 5 p.m. at Town Center.
  • Today, the Smart City Board meets at 6:30 p.m. at Town Center. 
  • On Wednesday, Coppell Cozby Library & Community Commons hosts Game Night from 6-8 p.m.
  • On Friday, the third grading period ends and all Coppell ISD campuses release early. CISD is on spring break March 11-15.
  • Coppell Arts Center hosts “Crimes of the Heart”  by Theatre Coppell at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and  2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets can be purchased here.

Sahasra Chakilam is a senior and the Executive News Editor of The Sidekick. She joined The Sidekick after watching Gilmore Girls and being inspired by Rory Gilmore’s work ethic and passion for journalism. Through the program, she has been able to develop a love for storytelling and connect with her community on a deeper level through reporting.  Outside of The Sidekick, she enjoys consuming all sorts of media. Her favorite music genres are R&B and indie pop, she has rewatched Crazy Rich Asians and How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days maybe 15 times and cannot ever pass on a 2000s teen drama.
