Each February, journalists and programs across the country celebrate Scholastic Journalism Week in order to highlight journalism’s importance in their lives. This year’s theme for SJW is “Here to Stay,” in light of journalism’s permanent role.

In this episode, The Sidekick’s features editor Anushree De speaks to The Sidekick executive editor-in-chief Sri Achanta, Round-Up yearbook editor-in-chief Samiksha Chemukula and KCBY-TV executive producer Archis Ukidwe as they discuss the importance of journalism and its impact on their personal lives.
