Two days ago was a normal day for me. I woke up late, got ready quickly and rushed outside to try and make it to school on time. When I reached my car, which is parked on the side of my house, I soon realized that unfortunately my car had been broken into.
Saying I was and still am angry would be an understatement. After yelling out of anger and disbelief I ran inside to inform my mom and dad that the sound system that my brother had put in for his birthday a year ago was now gone and all that remained were wires. My mom soon called the police and a friendly officer came to asses the situation. After showing me and my parents how they broke in without the alarm going off he then continued to take finger prints.
Calling my brother after school was the hardest part for me because I know that he loves that sound system. When he answered his phone we exchanged brotherly hellos, which usually include some sort of sarcastic insult, and then I had to break the news to him. After a silent pause and a small amount of yelling he came to the fact that there is nothing we can do and when he comes into town this weekend he wont be able to enjoy his favorite part of the car.
I still have not heard anything from the police but I guess I will have to be more patient because it has only been a few days. It just makes me mad that someone would take something that my family worked hard to get. Also, it makes me mad that my brother is going to come home and see his car for the first time in months and now it is basically ruined on the inside.
I have been trying to not let that day ruin my week but to top off getting my car broken into I was late to school.
