Weds., Oct. 4 marks Coppell High School’s fall blood drive hosted by Carter BloodCare and assisted by the National Honor Society.
Students still interested in being a donor should talk to NHS President Judy Hong and sign up for a slot to receive a pass that will excuse him/her from class. The drive will start at 8 a.m. and continue until the end of school. There are times available for students to donate every 30 minutes.
NHS volunteers will be at the site helping nurses as monitors, and distributors of snacks for donors.
A second blood drive will take place in the spring which gives seniors an incentive for donating blood; seniors that donate both in the fall and spring will receive an addition cord for graduation.
