Video: Cozby Library and Community Commons encouraging diversity through Kolam painting workshop

Kolam Painting is a form of geometric art consisting of dots and lines, primarily practiced in southern parts of India. It is used to decorate doorsteps for special occasions, and the designs are usually applied using rice flour. From April 17-18, Cozby Library and Community Commons held a two-part workshop to encourage diversity within the community.
Coppell residents outline Kolam designs in the Cozby Library and Community Commons meeting room on April 18. The library held a class for Kolam painting, an art form practiced in South India.
