Capturing Coppell is a Sidekick series detailing events involving Coppell High School and Coppell ISD happening this week. It will be posted every Monday for the rest of the 2022-23 school year.

  • Coppell ISD is closed this week for the Thanksgiving holiday.
  • On Tuesday, Coppell Chamber of Commerce hosts BizCon Breakfast, a networking event held on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Breakfast will be at Hard Eight BBQ from 8-9 a.m. More information can be found here. 
  • On Wednesday, City of Coppell administrative offices including the Municipal Court, Animal Services, Senior and Community Center, Biodiversity Education Center, The CORE and Cozby Library and Community Commons will close at noon and remain closed through Friday in observance of Thanksgiving. Animal Services and Cozby Library will reopen on Saturday and all other facilities will open during regular business hours.
  • On Thursday, the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas hosts the 55th annual Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot. More information and registration can be found here.
  • Thursday is Thanksgiving.
