Capturing Coppell is a Sidekick series detailing events involving Coppell High School and Coppell ISD happening this week. It will be posted every Monday for the rest of the 2022-23 school year.

  • On Monday and Tuesday, Coppell Band competes at the UIL State Open Class Marching Band Contest in San Antonio at Alamodome. The schedule for the competition can be found here.
  • On Monday, Coppell City Council and Coppell ISD Board of Trustees have a joint meeting at 6 p.m. at Coppell Arts Center.
  • Midterm Election Day is Tuesday. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • CHS9 Theatre presents the 7th-10th Grade Mock UIL One-Act Play Festival on Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the  CHS9 Auditorium. Tickets are $10 in cash at the door. The award ceremony is on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday is Veterans day. CHS is hosting a flag-raising ceremony to honor veterans and family members of those who serve at 7:45 a.m.
