The Sportlight highlights a male and female JV athlete every Monday and Friday. This week, Coppell junior Andrew Yin, a JV tennis player, was selected.

Coppell junior Andrew Yin has played tennis since seventh grade, as he became interested in the sport after watching it on television. Four years later, Yin spends his mornings practicing as a member of the Coppell JV tennis team. In addition to competing in matches and tournaments, Yin appreciates the community aspect of the tennis team and practices with his friends on weekends.
