The annual Addison Oktoberfest will be held from September 16-19 at Addison Circle Park. Annually, around 6,000 people gather for four days of music, folk dancing and German tradition.
Activities include Arts & Crafts, a Carnival with rides and games from Talley Amusements, Family Fun Zone, three stages of entertainment and more.
In addition, Oktoberfest is sponsoring many events such as the 5K run to support the non-profit organization, Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday (with a one mile Children’s run at 8 a.m.)
Oktoberfest is sponsored by multiple businesses such as Time Warner Cable, Albertsons, 100.3 Jack fm, Lincon, Mercury, The Dallas Morning News and American Airlines.
Ticket prices range depending on time and date of admission and are as follows:
Thursday Sep 16, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. – Free
Friday Sep 17, 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. – $10
Saturday Sep 18, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. – $5
Saturday Sep 18, 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. – $10
Sunday Sep 19, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m – $5
Children under age 4 are always free.
