Following it’s win over Plano West, the Coppell girls basketball team plays Sanger at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Coppell High School Arena.

“[Sanger is Class 4A] but they’re pretty good,” assistant Brittany Foster said “They’re better than a lot of the team we played already.”

With many Cowgirls out for sickness and injuries, practices have been impacted.

“We have nine kids [today],” Foster said. “It’s just overcoming injuries and illnesses [and] then just playing out game because right now our practice isn’t going as well as it should.”

After their 73-29 win over Plano West on Friday, the Cowgirls expect to adjust it’s offensive plan against Sanger.

“[Sanger] plays a lot of zone so it’s [going to] be a challenge,” Foster said. “We’re working on zone offensive [right now].”
