A Black Gold member shows the expression of sadness and pain while spinning her flag on Saturday in the Coppell High School arena at the Winter Guard International (WGI) Dallas competition, which is a circuit for color guard members to to perform their winter shows for competition purposes. Black Gold, an Independent guard, meaning they are all high school graduates, is one of these programs who performed their show ‘One,’ which is a tribute to the shooting at Pulse nightclub in Florida and shows how people have come together to raise awareness and advocate for their civil rights.
