The Sidekick staff photographer Laura Amador-Toro shares her experience moving to the United States from Colombia and the struggles she faced in the process. Amador-Toro moved to the U.S. in March 2016, and even though she still desires to move back to her home country, experiencing the U.S helped her become the person she is today.
