The Coppell High School cafeteria and Commons are decorated with pictures of the dancers and western table centerpieces for the Lariettes Spaghetti Dinner on Friday. The CHS Lariettes hosted their 35th annual Spaghetti Dinner to fundraise for the drill team and celebrate the beginning of the Coppell football season.

Miss Teen Sweetwater International Raeghan Steele competes in the fun fashion portion of the pageant. Maddy Park is a senior and a second-year staff photographer on The Sidekick Maddy ended up in The Sidekick in an unexpected way. After landing a leg injury in soccer, she thought, why not join the school’s newspaper? From owning Sidekick subscriptions before, she enjoyed reading the newspaper and decided that she wanted to be a part of the process. When she’s not taking photos, she can be seen making art as she has been a part of Coppell High School’s art program for four years. Outside of school, she plays for her club soccer team, DKSC, and enjoys hanging out with her German Shepherd and black cat. She loves boba tea and any non-spicy Korean food.
