Tomorrow at 6 p.m., Coppell ISD continues to celebrate its 60th anniversary with a pop up party at JC’s Burger Bar in Coppell. 

JC’s is offering a buy-one-get-one offer with sliders with any protein, veggie or vegan patty of equal or lesser value in honor of CISD’s birthday. 

This pop up party is one of many CISD has hosted previously in other local businesses, including one at Andy’s Frozen Custard and another at Rodeo Goat. 

There will be giveaways and games such as cornhole and giant checkers. 

“We’ll have some of the district administrators there, [CISD Superintendent] Dr. Brad Hunt and others from campuses like principals will attend,” CISD communications specialist Beth Robb said. “It’s really just intended to be a community event for anyone who wants to attend.”
