As the graduating class of 2020 settled into the Coppell High School Arena, Principal Laura Springer, associate principal Sean Bagley and Josten representative Chris Harper played a slideshow with a montage of Jostens products available to purchase. The senior assembly informed students about purchasing graduation caps and gowns.

Caps and gowns can be ordered can be ordered Oct. 17 from 12-6 p.m. and Oct. 18 from 12-2 p.m. in the CHS main hallway. For the cap, gown and tassel package, the cost is $78. After these days, the price of the caps and gowns will increase. Payments can be given through cash, check or a money order. 

Jostens J-PAY offers a way to pay in three installments where the first payment is charged at the time of order, the second payment is automatically charged 30 days later and the third payment is automatically charged 30 days after the second payment.

“Senior year is all about achievement and moving towards what you want in life,” Harper said. “You guys are looking forward to graduating and doing whatever it is in the future and it’s great to have goals, but don’t let it distract you from where you are.”

Jostens is offering the sale of official announcements, photo cards, senior gear, senior keepsakes, class jewelers along with the caps and gowns. 

For seniors who have already purchased class rings, they can get them resized. For seniors who purchase jewelry this year starting from July 1, they can get their cap and gown free of charge.

Caps and gowns will also be free of charge with The COWBOY Pack offered for a total package price of $261. In addition to the cap and gown, the package contains 25 official school announcements, 25 custom photo cards, thank you notes, hoodie, two pack T-shirts and a tassel.

The Mascot Pack also includes a free cap and gown. These packs contain an array of announcements/photo cards, tissue overlays, return address labels, thank you cards, T-shirt 2-pack, hoodie and tassels. 

“I so look forward to going to your graduation,” Springer said. “I look forward to being able to hand your diploma and seeing you shape your life. It’s going to be a great year.”
