On Saturday at 7 p.m., the city of Coppell is hosting the third part in the Fall Music Series at the Square in Old Town Coppell.

Cover band Elevation will perform hits from the ‘60s to the present day in a two-hour long set. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on the lawn.

Organized by the Coppell Parks and Recreation department, the Spring Music Series aims to create a community-centered, family-friendly environment.

“I’m looking forward to spending time with my family and listening to some good music,” Coppell High School senior Eva Theel said. “I know my parents will definitely like the music because it’s throwbacks. I’m just going to have a good time hanging out with everyone.”

On top of the concert itself, there is a multitude of different activities offered. Gourmet food trucks such as Hook and Ladder Pizza will be featured along with complimentary popcorn from the Parks and Recreation department. Furthermore, the Parks and Recreation booth will have giveaways and an interactive photo booth running throughout the night.

Admission is free, and no ticket or registration in advance is required. The concert is expected to end at approximately 9 p.m.
