Coppell seniors Yue Taira, Emil Aaltonen, Matthew Rodman, Elieser Gonzalez and Rithvik Gunda make up the last class of swimmers to have experienced both former coach Rick Whittlesey and current coach Marieke Mastebroek. From four years of swimming, each senior has collected memories and developed relationships they will remember even after they graduate.
Swimming seniors leave behind medley of memories
Four years of swimming for Coppell High School has left varsity seniors Yue Taira, Emil Aaltonen, Matthew Rodman, Rithvik Gunda and Elieser Gonzalez with time to reflect upon, from what they have done to what they are leaving behind.
As the last class to have witnessed both former coach Rick Whittlesey and current coach Marieke Mastebroek, the seniors have had their own share of memories, from beating personal bests to building bonds with other swimmers.
