For this Teacher of the Week, Executive News Editor Christine Zacuai interviews Coppell High School AP Art History, Drawing, IB Visual Art and Drawing II teacher Michelle Hauske. On Feb. 9, the CHS art department’s annual competition Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) had 48 total regional medalists who received one or more regional medals for their division and 13 state qualifiers. Of that total, Hauske has nine students advancing to state with 10 total medals, and 33 students receiving regional medals.
