“Trumpet is definitely my passion and that’s what I’m actually majoring in college next year. I’ve always liked music and it’s just really fun being together with a group of musicians, making music, making an experience for people that are listening to it. It’s not so much just playing music, but just like creating entertainment. It sounds cool. My brother who’s three years older than me was in band before me and I figured I might as well do band too because that’s what he did. And as soon as I joined, that’s just been something I’ve loved doing ever since. The cool thing about it is: when you sound good and when you sound good with others, it’s something you’re creating. It’s not just something that’s there. But the music is there because of you and the music is something that will only be exactly like that once. You can never exactly recreate what you just did.”
