Are you tired of buying cheap, overpriced costumes from Halloween stores? If you are, no worries. We have the perfect solution.

Here are three Disney-themed Halloween costumes, all of which are easy and affordable to make.

Our first one is the infamous Russell from the Disney Pixar movie Up. Russell is a young boy who enjoys the outdoors and prides himself for being a wilderness explorer.

For the costume, we used a plain yellow shirt, brown shorts, brown fabric and printed out wilderness badges from the Internet. For Russell’s sash, we cut a piece of the brown fabric and glued the badges we printed onto the fabric. An orange tie and yellow cap finishes off the look.

For our second character, we were inspired by Te Fiti from the Disney movie Moana. Te Fiti is the island goddess whose heart gets stolen during the beginning of the movie, leaving heroine Moana to recover it for the rest of the movie.

This costume involved a floral skirt, a green shirt – to represent land – a flower crown and floral jewelry.

Our last character was Darla from the Disney Pixar movie Nemo. Darla is the little girl who absentmindedly kills all the fish by shaking them to death.

For this costume, we used a purple sweater, some wacky shorts, a white string for headgear, and a ziploc bag full of water to represent the fish.
