Between classes and extracurriculars, it is easy for students to forget the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.

On Wednesday, Coppell High School is hosting a Health and Wellness Exhibition, aimed to inform the Coppell residents on healthy habits ranging from diet to exercise.

Coordinated by CHS coach Angelina Curtis, the expo is from 6-8 p.m. in the common area of CHS, with community members free to come and go as they please throughout the evening.

With more than 40 vendors on hand discussing exercise, healthy eating, training and nutrition, this is not an event to miss.

Free fitness demonstrations will be available, along with CPR demonstrations led by CHS students. CHS aerobic students will provide an evaluation of community members’ fitness levels by conducting a fitnessgram test on those who are interested.

Healthy snacks, salads and nutritional drink samples will be open for students and community members to try, aiming to promote a healthier diet.

This event is open to all community members of Coppell, young and old alike, so it is encouraged to bring along family and friends.
