Classic holiday stories to light up Coppell at annual parade

It is that time of year when Coppell has the opportunity to bring the holidays alive in the community.
On Saturday, the city of Coppell is hosting the Holiday Lighted Parade and Tree Lighting from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The parade route takes place from Samuel Boulevard to Parkway Boulevard and ends at Town Center Plaza.
The parade’s theme is “A Storybook Holiday.” All floats will brighten up the streets with the holiday lights decorations with each float reflecting a holiday classic. Get there early for a perfect spot, everyone is welcome.
After the parade, attendees can head over to Town Center Plaza on Town Center Boulevard for more holiday cheer, including the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Santa and Mrs. Claus will attend, live music will be performed by Joel Cross and festive holiday treats will be available.
